Playa Blanca will host the second Cheese Fair next weekend, so for those who enjoy sampling cheese and wine, there will be ample opportunities to try a range of new dishes incorporating locally made produce throughout the week from today. The fair itself will be held in Calle Limones, as it was last year.

The week long Cheese and Wine event has been organized by SaboreaLanzarote and establishments all over the island will be participating in the festival, with new culinary offerings using Lanzarote cheeses and local wines until 3rd March.

Amongst those restaurants taking part are Casa Roja in Playa Blanca, La Puntilla and Lilium in Arrecife, El Marinero in Arrieta, Taberna de Nino in Puerto del Carmen, Bodega Stratvs in La Geria, the Monumento al Campesino in Mozaga and Aromas Yaiza in Playa Blanca. The Cheese Fair itself will be held on Sunday 3rd March in Playa Blanca and visitors will be able to try dishes here that have been created by all of the participating restaurants, as well as purchasing cheeses from the various producers who will be attending the event.
