Pop music is one of the UK’s greatest cultural exports. From the 60’s through to the current day bands such as The Beatles and Oasis have carried the flag abroad, conquering massive markets such as America as well as many more hearts and minds around the world.

And this Saturday the 20th of November the Teatro Municipal in San Bartolome will be playing host to Popglish, a musical that pays homage to this genre.

Popglish is billed as a mixture of music and theatre that takes the audience on a journey through British pop from the 60’s to the present day. Featuring hits from musical legends such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Queen and Elton John, to name but a few big names from a programme that encompasses 71 songs from 40 different artists.

Tickets are priced at €10 and Popglish runs from 21.00 to 22.30.
