The second event in this year´s Classics Concert Series takes place in Arrecife this coming Saturday April 9th, featuring the clarinetist Ayoze Rodríguez Martín who will be accompanied by musicians from the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote.

Martin is already something of an accomplished live performer, having colloborated with some of the leading ensembles in both the Canaries and the UK, such as the Trinity College Symphony Orchestra and the Tenerife Symphiony Orchestra. As well as winning the Young Artist of The Year award in 2003.

This weekend he will be peforming pieces composed by Weber and Reicha at the Sala Jose Saramago, in La Plazuela, Arrecife from 20.30 and tickets for the event are priced at 12 euros.

With further dates planned for May, June and July, event organisers hope that this series of classical concerts will provide a solid foundation for an annual event, which is designed to firmly establish Arrecife as a viable venue for other eminent musicians.  You can also visit the Orquesta Classica Lanzarote website for more information.
