Two of the leading lights from the world of opera will be shining centre stage at the Jameos del Agua on Saturday 14th May. As the highly acclaimed soprano Ainho Arteta teams up with Lanzarote born tenor Pancho Carujo to perform pieces composed by Tosti, Verdi and Puccini in a gala one off performance.

Soprano Arteta has enjoyed a glittering career to date, gracing the stage at some of the world's leading opera houses such as Covent Garden, La Scalla Milan and Carnegie Hall alongside heavyweights such as Placido Domingo.

Whilst local favourite Carujo is widely regarded as one of Spain's most promising young tenors and has enjoyed a stellar ascendancy since making his debut in 2006.

The duo will be backed by the eminent Italian pianist Marco Evangelisti and tickets for the performance are priced at 40 to 45 euros and are available online at Touristicket.com, as well as from the box office at the Jameos del Agua.
