The 6th annual Lanzarote Food and Wine Festival is being staged this weekend in the former island capital of Teguise. Featuring a wide variety of gastronomic attractions across the course of Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of November.

Over 40 of the island´s leading restaurants will be showcasing some of their finest creations alongside the top 10 local bodegas in the main tented Gastro Market zone. Whilst some of the best chef´s in the Canaries, including five star Michelin holder Paco Perez, will be providing inspiration in the show cooking area with tastings, talks and workshops.

Visitors will also be able to buy wide variety of fresh local produce, such as organic fruit and vegetables, goats cheese and locally caught prawns, allowing them to try out some of the ideas on show for themselves. And can also visit the Casa Museo del Timple in the heart of the town where over 100 Canarian wines will be available for tasting, as well as a wide variety of local artisan products including coffee and beers.
