Eleven bands, three different stages, ten hours. There´s only one place to be this coming Saturday if you´re a fan of live music. As the latest edition of the Teguise Music Showcase strikes up in the former island capital from 12.30 to 22.30.

The event is designed to showcase the freshest up and coming musical talent on the island - with the best band securing a prestigious slot at the Monkey Week Festival in Seville. All set against the historic backdrop of Teguise´s colonial architecture, as the artists perform 45 minute sets in three different locations during the course of the day; the Plazas Maciot de Bethencourt, Clavijo y Fajardo and San Francisco.
