The fourth annual European Freestyle Windsurfing Championhsip gets underway in Costa Teguise from tomorrow - featuring some of the sport´s biggest names, such as Tonky Frans, Steven Van Broeckhoven y Yentel Caers.

All of the action will take place at Playa Cucharas in the heart of the resort from Wednesday through until Saturday. As a total of 32 riders from 15 different countries battle it out to take an early lead in the European rankings, before the Pro Freestyle Tour rolls out across the rest of the Canaries, touching down in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife across the summer.

As well as high adrenaline action the event will also feature a whole raft of other activities, such as beach volleyball, slackline, skateboarding and a Miss Summer Party 2017 pageant.
