The 29th annual Feria de Artesania gets underway from tomorrow in Mancha Blanca - showcasing a wide diversity of traditional crafts along with an insight into the island´s historical folklore culture.

Over the years the Artisan Fair has evolved into a major event and will be running through until September 10th, from 10.00 to 22.00, partly as a precursor to the iconic Fiesta de Los Dolores which involves tens of thousands of locals making a pilgrimage on foot to Manca Blanca. the point at which the lava flows halted during the volacanic eruptions in the 1730´s.

This years event features the usual host of stalls and stands selling a wide range of local craft products - along with workshops, live music, folk dancing, food tastings and much more besides.
