The former island capital of Teguise plays host to Lanzarote´s seventh annual Enogastronomy Festival this weekend - showcasing the very best in island food and wine throughout the weekend of November 25th and 26th.

Lanzarote is building a solid reputation for its contemporary food and drink offering and most of the main players in this field will have a presence at the Festival. Ranging from restaurants such as QueMUAC, based in the Castillo de San Jose and Los Aljibes de Tahiche, who offer their own micro beers, through to local bodegas, cheese makers and other artisinal items. As well as show cooking displays, cooking contests and many more gastro themed delights besides.
