The uplifting sounds of Joshua Nelson and the New York Gospel Project grace the stage in Arrecife this Saturday, December 1st.

The Gospel Festival Canarias gets underway this coming Saturday, with major musical events planned across the archipelago over the course of December.

Here on Lanzarote Joshua Nelson, known as ‘The King of Kosher Gospel’, takes centre stage at the Teatro Salinero in Arrecife. Along with the massed vocal ranks of the New York Gospel Project in a celebration of modern and classic gospel standards.

Nelson is widely regarded as one of modern gospel’s greatest talents and he has performed alongside musical legends such as Aretha Franklin, Billy Preston and Wynton Marsalis.
