Another View Of The Sky Opens in Yaiza
The Another View of the Sky exhibition which first opened in Arrecife last month is now showing in Yaiza at the Casa de Cultura until February 22nd. Featuring the work of eleven photographers from across the Canaries.
The exhibition has been organised by the Septenio Program, a body who annually run photographic competitions that are designed to promote and support culture, science and innovation in the region.
The program is funded by the Canarian Government and aims to bring together the creative talents of both young and more experienced artists. Such as Tato Goncalvez, Arcadio Suárez, Yaiza Socorro and Juan Carlos Alonso from Gran Canaria. Carlos Mora, Cristobal García y Manuel Lárida from Tenerife. Carlos de Saa from Fuerteventura; Kepa Herrero and Nadima García from Lanzarote and Saúl Santos Díaz from La Palma.
The Casa de Cultura in Yaiza is open daily from 09.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00. Admission is entirely free of charge.
