Lanzarote For Kids
“What's there to do for kids?” - that's the main concern of most parents when booking a holiday. Fortunately Lanzarote has something to offer even the choosiest of children. With some great activities available both on land, at sea and even beneath the waves.
Underwater Adventure
Submarine Safaris
The 3.5 million dollar Yellow Submarine, based in Puerto Calero, is a surefire hit with kids. It's specially designed for underwater exploration – offering two very large viewing ports at either end, another 22 portals throughout the comfortable and spacious cabin and TV screens which ensure you can view all of the action outside from every angle.
The Sub dives to the floor of the Atlantic Ocean for an hour – and the clarity of the water means that kids get an incredible insight into the marine world around Lanzarote. A diver further enhances the experience by feeding the fish, so attracting even more marine wildlife to the viewing windows.
Dives take place four times a day, seven days a week and you are picked up and transported to Puerto Calero as part of the deal, with the dive itself lasting around one hour. The cost is €48 per adult and €28 per child.
